How-To: Storytelling to Build Your Brand
Share a critical problem to solve
Chances are, you know how you can solve your customers problem but your customers don’t...yet! Find out how your product or service is going to improve your customers’ lives and then tell your story with that in mind.
2. Explain your inspiration for being in business
Go back to your mission and the reason you got started in the first place. Were you inspired by a personal passion or desire to bridge the gap in your market? Weave that story into your brand.
3. Show how you’re different
Do you offer perks that your competitors don’t? Is your strategy or product more advanced than what’s currently on the market? Does your business give back or get involved in the community? Frame what sets you apart in compelling ways for your audience.
4. Celebrate your customers
This is about your customer being the hero, not you or your service. Share the real life stories because that’s what your customers crave, plus your customers are the actual people that pay your bills. They are the real MVPs.
